The advent of Covid-19 has drastically altered the entire world. Physical distancing is the new norm. Many experts say this distancing will be a permanent aspect of society. At a minimum, it will be the status quo until a vaccine is developed, likely sometime in late 2021. Hey, it's not the end of the world! We simply must acclimate and evolve into a new consciousness. The Zen of Gravity presents a whole new theory of the human psyche, sexuality, and soul. This is exactly what we need to structure a new social distancing paradigm into our culture and civilization. Gravity is by definition force at a distance. The moon, for example, is almost 300,000 miles from Earth. And yet it has an enormous influence on tides. The sun is 93 million miles away and it defines our entire existence! How to correlate this notion of "action from a distance" into the human condition? The material is based on foundational aspects of celestial mechanics, the formal mathematical study of gravity. (Relax, there's virtually no math in the presentation. Everything is illustrated with simple diagrams.) Part One introduces all the basic ideas of gravity, using illustrations, explaining the forces at play using relationship examples. We've all experienced physical attraction, akin to that between two physical bodies like Earth and the Moon. You maneuver into her physical orbit, maybe then attempt a fly-by and - with any luck, you get her attention and manage to enter a low-altitude orbit. Alias a formal relationship. Similar real-life examples are offered to explain the rest of the "rocket science" in the book, altogether suggesting a whole new way to look at relationships at every level, from the personal to the occupational to the political. WH Clark is a US Naval Academy alumni, a 100% disabled veteran, professional engineer, author, screenwriter, and expert in orbital and celestial mechanics.
