Stay Home Amber Fawcett

We are living in a very uncertain time, something we have never experienced before. Everyone's life has been affected and although adults generally understand what is going on, children are having trouble wrapping their little heads around it. I realized this when I was trying to explain it to my 5 year old son and found it challenging. That's when I had the idea to write a story to help other parents simplify it for their children. The story is about a little boy and his dog, Barry. He wants to ensure his dog doesn't worry about all the changes that are going on, so he explains it very simply to him. Its a heartwarming story that I hope helps children better understand more about our world's current situation, and why it is so important that we stay home.
