Humans face many fears in a lifetime. Some of these fears make it easy to believe in superstition. Superstition is a fear of the unknown. It is a belief in good and bad luck cats based on their color. Today is Friday the 13th and this is a story about a black cat named Miracle trying to change a town superstitious ways about her color. She taught a community to conquer its fear by growing pass superstition. This story speaks to fear within a family, a different perception of friendship and growing up. A community that once believed Miracle to be bad luck accepts her as a good friend. The Smith children learn how good it feels to stand alone and not be afraid. The first step to growing up is facing your fears whether real or imagined. Another step is assuming responsibility for your actions. Taboo Cat: transFORMation tells the story of Miracle rare transformation from a black cat to a white cat. For those who believe Miracle goes from a bad luck cat to a good luck cat. She succeeds on several levels by performing good deeds. She balances good and bad on one occasion to help a little girl being bullied. It takes time to change the perception of people and Miracle never gives up as she travels from town to town. In the end she becomes a friend to this community and the Smith family. Miracle proves that a black cat can be good luck.
