Differentiated book- It has a historical context with research of the time-Myths of the Norsemen by Hélène Adeline GuerberThe cosmology of Norse mythology includes a strong component of duality. For example, day and night have their mythological counterparts: Dagr / Skinfaxi and Nótt / Hrímfaxi, the sun and the wolf that persecutes it (in this mythology "the" sun is feminine and "the" moon, masculine) bringing darkness Sol and Sköll, the moon and the wolf that chases her Máni and Hati, and the total opposition between Niflheim and Muspelheim that gives rise to the world. This can be seen reflected in a deep metaphysical belief in the opposites for the creation of the universe. The Nordic peoples worshiped two classes of gods, one of them and the main one is that of the Æsir. In Asgard, the home of the gods, inhabited the Æsir (gods) and Asynjur (goddesses). They all made up the assembly at whose head was Odin, the noblest and most important. Among these gods, we can highlight Thor, god of thunder, with iron gloves, his famous hammer, Mjolnir, and owner of a magic belt; also god of force. Hélène Adeline Guerber (1859-1929), better known as HA Guerber, was a British historian best known for her written stories of Germanic mythology.
