Reiki is a Japanese technique that is based on a scientifically proven premise that every living has a Universal Life Energy. The Usui technique of Usui capitalizes on this energy through touch for the healing purpose. The third eye is often called the sixth sense because it allows you to see things that go beyond the natural laws of the body and mind. The third eye also works with your first five senses in order to see things beyond the normal scope of sight. With all six senses working together, it creates a strong sensory organ known as the "meta organ." This sensory organ pays attention to patterns in your life that you may not pick up on through your other five senses. Then it will integrate these patterns onto your other senses so you can accurately get insight into the situation at hand.
When you make quick decisions on the spot, you are using your third eye to sense the decision to make. However, if you start to stimulate your third eye with a balance of energy from the spirits of the universe, you can develop your third eye to make your decision-making more accurate.
