Rising China, Falling U.S.A. Tony Pow

China is rising and U. S. is falling. All empires have risen and fallen and it is a historical fact. We replaced the British Empire as explained in my book (included here) in "The fall of an empire: U. S. A.". With the suggested cures, I wish it would take longer time to fall. We have to identify our weaknesses before we can fix them. I provide a suggestion to fix it (Book 1, Section III and Chapter 1). China could be our competitor as described in my books "Understanding China" and "Can China say no" that are included in this book. The root cause of the trade war is stopping China to replace us as the leading country. The trade war could lead to complete decoupling and the worst to a military war. There are many catalysts such as the current pandemic (asking China for damages), invasion of Taiwan and conflicts in S. E. Asia. Most likely for luck but with good reasons, I predicted correctly that a disaster would happen in China as reported in August, 2019 in my article "Disasters in 2020" in the included Book 6. The second prediction has not happened yet, but it has more impact to our economy. The third prediction: China would not agree to pay for the damages of this pandemic and that would lead to the freezing of their debts to us (1.07 T as of Dec., 2019). The main objective of this book is hopefully reduction the military conflict between U. S. and China. This book consists of many selected articles from most of my books in politics. This book has over 400 pages (6*9). Both countries are suffering from the trade war and now the pandemic. China has faced SARS and poverty before, so the spirit of the nation is still high compared to us. By cutting our military expenses, we should fix many of our problems at home. Sometimes the news reported by the media needs to be further evaluated. The recent example is Bolivia's uprising. It has to be aided by our government to limit China's access to lithium. Have the media told us the truth? You may not agree with most of my opinions. Do challenge them. We need more thinkers than followers. Human nature is agreeing with the ideas to support their original thinking, and that's why we do not want to listen to the other side of the story. There are pro-Chinese views and also views by Chinese bashers. I hope my book is in the middle. With the daily bombarding by our pro-U. S. media, I hope to present a balance view. I was born in Hong Kong and U. S. is my adopted country. My yellow face 'betrayed' me, but I am proud to be a Chinese American. I am naturally biased. Hence, do not be offended if I go too far to defend China. This trade war and any conflict with China hurt me. So far, I have donated all my book profits to charities. My personal welfare is tied with U. S. I have no affiliation with Chinese government and I have not received any compensation from China. This book is dedicated to all the essential workers especially the medical staffs. Many opinions in this book are from many sources. Most sources from the established U. S. and EU media such as BBC, DW and Economist are less biased. I find CGTN, an English-speaking, Chinese TV network is informative and not too propaganda. So is RT network from YouTube. It seems CGTN stays away more from the U. S. politics than RT. Both are financed (at least partially) by the Chinese government and the Russian government respectively. I also selected and translated from Cantonese on many YouTube videos such as Mr. Gold B Gor and Mr. Albert Ip. They do represent a lot of knowledge from Hong Kong that may not be available to Western audience. Size: 285 pages (6*9) Last update: 05/2021.
