In a universe full of uncertainties, where alien species inhabit planets far from Earth, Talia and Kamilla, along with the rest of their crew set off on their mission to explore the unknowns of space. While peacefully collecting samples, their team is attacked by resident extraterrestrial forces, and Talia is taken. No longer the team they once were, the crew splits up and goes their separate ways. Devastated after the loss of her best friend, Kamilla keeps in touch with Talia's sister, becoming a professor at Horizon Academy, making a few other friends along the way. Things change suddenly for her and her friends when a ship crashes one night outside of the Academy. Events are set into motion and they are thrown into the center of a galactic war between worlds. They are pulled into a dangerous adventure where pasts are revealed and futures unfolded. Questions arise, will everyone turn out alright? And what kind of lasting effect will this have on the crew and the worlds around them?
