A Dandelion Lifecycle

The author and illustrator of this story is a ten-year-old girl writing for an audience of children. It takes place in My World, a fantasy world the author created when she was five years old.

It is about a dandelion named Goldie and several of her seed children. In the autumn, the winds take these seed children on an exciting adventure. They encounter many difficult situations, not all of which turn out well. The story ends happily with a reunion and the completion of the dandelion lifecycle.

The author is also the illustrator of the book. She has included many fascinating illustrations that bring the story to life.

About the Author

Alissa Bullock was born in Xuchang, Henan, China in 2010. She attended Kindergarten through to the end of grade three in China.

When she was nine, she, her mother and father moved to Canada. She is presently a grade four student at Toniata Public School in Brockville, Ontario.

She has become a gifted illustrator after drawing thousands of pictures over the last eight years. Her strong creative ability has enabled her to fantasize interesting tales for children. This is the first tale of many.
