Two women find themselves thrown together in search of the Moon Pearl, a gem capable of banishing violent thoughts from any who come in contact with it. Their path crosses with an Yrean warrior who is also after a treasure, a fabulous ruby known as the Heart of Astarte. Seeing mutual benefit in working together, the three embark on a series of adventures that carry them through the mundane and the supernatural, the known world and one that exists in between light and dark. The one constant the three face is pursuit by Flagitia, a dark hearted sorceress with a singular obsession-to destroy the Moon Pearl. The trio finally find the Moon Pearl in Lemuria, but can they survive against Flagitia's magic long enough to escape with it?
