An outrageous West-Texas stage driver tolerates nothing from anyone, not from Comanches, outlaws, shipping customers, depot operators, or passengers. Sebastian takes the audience on a round-trip from El Paso to Fredericksburg, and then some. Because the route is beset with dangers, the stage company can never find a replacement for Sebastian (even when he offends a relative of the Fargo family), and Sebastian knows it. Sebastian, a large man, has only one problem in life. In every bar he enters, someone wants to fight him. And he hates to fight, though he always wins. His home place is Mason where his sweetheart operates a saloon. Life doesn't get any better for Sebastian. But all that comes to a crashing stop when his girlfriend sells the bar and wants to have a proper relationship with him. His situation gets further complicated when he picks up a small passenger from Fredericksburg to Mason, a young girl on route to live with her aunt. And guess who her aunt is?
