From his hospital bed, an older, very cranky Private Investigator asks Sandi Webster to take over a case for him. He's so pleased with the results that he calls on her to handle another case. He's received information that his estranged son may be in danger, which leads Sandi to a rickety old cabin in the mountains, a few antisocial veterans, and some greedy interlopers who arrive on the scene unannounced. Rocky, the very cranky P. I., has what turns out to be a deadly secret.
