The only constant in life is death. For Adrian Dillard, death has become an unwelcome companion. Nine unwelcome companions to be exact. Killed in a tragic train derailment over a century ago, the ghosts of nine children have taken up residence in Adrian's psyche. Using him as a conduit for their incredible abilities, Adrian is put through arduous training to face off against The Nine's ancient enemy Samen, Lord of Evil Spirits. But Adrian knows he isn't being told the full story. Soon, the dead children seem to have other motives, and the appearance of other supernatural creatures calls everything Adrian has learned in to doubt. He must uncover the truth behind it all and try to avoid death trying.
