A fun, literary novel, suitable for graphic art. Two players on a college lacrosse team achieve fame after graduation by investigating corruption at their Ivy League rival. From there, they stake out suspicious activity at a cookie factory located in a sparsely inhabited region. They discover extraterrestrial presence at the site, and from then on are under constant government surveillance bent on covering up any evidence of aliens. A local sheriff, who has also noticed strange things in the night sky, becomes their ally. Together with their twin girlfriends and future father-in-law, and Barclay, the flamboyant technology wizard, they make contact with the pro-Earth faction of aliens.
