The book contains fourteen adventures by a little boy who discovers the world. From meeting a giant in the forest near his house to spending three days at see with pirates, Little Ace is both fearless and easily impressed. He is quite small for boys his age, but makes up for his wit and determination in his work for school and at home. The adventures have been told to little children for generations and in this book they appear as adaptations to situations in the 21st century. Each story takes about ten to fifteen minutes of animated reading by an adult, while older children can easily master reading about as many adventures (chapters) as they wish.
