Harry Houdini & Sherlock Holmes - A complete reprint of the rare Portuguese language edition of the circa 1920 pulp magazine from the series "Aventuras Extraordinarias De Sherlock Holmes". This issue title is "O Atleta Desaparecido" which translates in English to "Extraordinary Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - The Missing Athlete". This issue was in fact a translation from the original 1908 German "Auf den Spuren Houdinis" - On the Trail of Houdini. Summary: Houdini is kidnapped by rivals and is destined to be killed where-as the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, is quickly called upon to solve the caper. Having an interest in either Houdini or Holmes you might also look for a similar reprint of this from the 1911 "Aventuras extraordinarias dum policia secreta" and in the original German with English translation "Houdini & Holmes Together Again In 1908".
