Detective Inspector Sam Freeman has his work cut out in this case. A Spanish national has been found murdered on a local council estate. With no fixed abode and very few people who know her, he needs to find out why she was here, where she was living, and why someone would want to kill her. With very little to go on, he soon realises that this investigation is starting to lead him to a case that happened over 20 years ago. More suspected murders follow and a case for missing persons turns his case upside down.
