Kelly and Marissa began school together in kindergarten. After many years of school together and a long friendship under their belt, Marissa unexpectedly passed away during their junior year of high school. After many tough days and lessons learned, Kelly is reflecting back on the past six years since losing her best friend. Kelly discusses what life was like after returning to school, completing college and finding her first full time job through the grief she was experiencing. Throughout this journey of life, Kelly tells of how she has grown and of the importance of the people around her in getting to where she is today.
