Going into elementary can be a little scary trying to meet new friends, finding where to sit at lunch and who to play with at recess and being in a new world away from home each day. Kenley has always been shy in big groups and starting in a new class each year can be tough and scary. Kenley learned that if she had a tough day she wanted to find a way to make her heart happy! What makes your heart happy? Kenley started to draw flowers to make her smile! Kenley wanted to find a place to go where she would see beautiful colors and pictures to make the most of each day. She wanted to bring her flowers to you to help you remember that if you are scared or have a tough day, you can turn it around and focus on something happy! Flowers are colorful and lively and there for everyone to enjoy. Kenley wanted flowers to be a reminder that going into elementary we should be kind to everyone and treat others how we want to be treated.
