The legends of Japan are as rich and deep as they are many, but for every legend preserved, many more are forgotten... One such of these, as one young man will learn, is the game of champions; a game in which the players-patron gods or goddesses- pit their chosen champions against all manor of tests and rivals in an attempt to win a coveted prize. Together with teenage ninja Fuuri, the champion of Benzaiten, the lute-playing goddess of water, luck, and love must fight his way against a t-rex, a dragon, enemy champions, selfish gods, and more. But what starts out as a simple game becomes so much more when the nation's princess requests the hero to investigate a rumor. With a trio of amorous goddesses along for the ride, our hero finds himself involved in a quest that may determine the very survival of the island nation of Japan against a cult of terrorists and an ancient foe... This story was inspired by Japanese mythology, anime, and video games. Set in a largely geographically accurate Japan, this story will appeal most to fans of harem-comedies.
