Metamorphoses Radoslav Galic

Three and a half years ago I found myself in a very difficult period of time in emotional sense. The only way out and the light at the end of the tunnel was to release all that negative energy. The most appropriate way for me to do this was to express myself creatively, through poetry. I started with one poem. The first attempt was very shy indeed, but I shared my first work with a group of my closest friends and their comments were very encouraging. The next logical step was to publish my work on a large poetry portal where I also received positive feedback from fellow poets, but total strangers. As my work progressed, I drew my inspiration not only from my emotional state, but also from everyday life and experiences around me. Even I noticed improvement in style and vocabulary. I experimented with various poetic forms, structures and rhymes. My closest friends still receive regular updates and provide feedback. After I finished the last poem, I realized that its ending is similar to the beginning of the first poem. The circle was now complete and that was my cue to make this part of my life public. I hope that the readers will enjoy the ride as much as I did.
