Saint's Haven
Christopher William Jones
Saint's Haven. That was the name given to the town by its founders after the Civil War. The name implies a safe place for everyone. The black citizens on the north side of the town know the ugly truth. One such person is Noah Robinson, a bright but angry child plagued with constant nightmares that he does not understand. Noah has been accepted into a school previously available only for whites. There, he finds a friend in Sarah Montgomery. Like himself, she is bullied by her classmates. Unlike Noah, she almost never speaks her mind. The same day, Noah discovers he has a gift. An ability to manipulate objects through a mysterious force that only he can see. A force that seems like water but glides through the air. A force he could use for revenge.
