Photography has always been a part of me. I made my living with a camera, and I made photographs to enhance my life. From commercial photography to fine art, photography has always been my muse. I have written several books about the process of photography (available here on Amazon) but this book is more about what is happening in the brain while making images for one's self, and for clients. Adding a third party to the art of making photographs will change the dynamics for sure, but there are certainly ways to deal with even the most incredibly challenging situations. This book is also a book about being an artist and a business person and how to make that dichotomy work. Working as a professional photographer means being a problem-solver extraordinaire. We solve visual problems and offer visual solutions that mean more sales and more profits for our clientsIt is a stressful, high-stakes business, but there are many incredible rewards as well. I have learned a lot about life, art, business, and creating in the fifty-plus years I have been doing this crazy job. I just wanted to share what I've learned so far with you.
