Theatrecentrics IV Jonathan Kiddrane
Theatrecentrics IV
Jonathan Kiddrane
A series of plays written to exhibit human behaviors during the Pandemic of 2020. Throughout the world-wide shut down, Kevin Schwab and Fran LoJacono performed nightly plays, skits and sketches to entertain anyone looking for a unique escape from the daily anxieties related to COVID-19. Several plays from this book were immortalized in their BlueBox Theatre productions. The commitment to theatre as a ways and means to escape the monotony of social distancing and restrictions due to the virus supported the relief everyone needed. The plays touch upon the different ways our society adjusted to and lived during a trying time in our shared history. Within the context of the plays, exists a dedication to the issues and problems our society must face every day. Sadly, the end result found in the plays, recognizes the many ways we cannot rise above the fears and disillusions presented by social media, and human paranoia.
