I was inspired to write this book because I want to become rich and famous like my friend and coworker James Landon Patterson. No, I wrote this book to share some of my childhood experiences and reactions to life's struggles, victories and of course the losses I've endured. Many of these pages are filled with coaching based stories and some of these tales are considered especially humorous. This book is dedicated to the athletes, officials and families in the Carolinas and Louisiana who are depicted in these humorous and mostly truthful accounts. They are members of a very special group known as my friends, associates and family. These are my stories.
