A Buddhist Love Story

" A Buddhist Love Story" is the fictional account of Ron Johnson's adventure into Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhist practice. Denise Sanford introduces Ron to the practice. As Denise teaches Ron aspects of the practice, a romance blossoms. A problem arises when Denise finds out Ron's dark and disturbing secrets. Will these secrets doom the romance between Ron and Denise or will Ron be able to use his Buddhist practice to change and win Denise's love? Although "A Buddhist Love Story" is a fictional story, the novel's true intent is to provide the reader with relevant information about Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhist practice. Nichiren Daishonin, a 13th century monk, studied Buddhist teachings to reveal chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo could enable a person to reach a state of enlightenment or absolute happiness in their current life.. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo translates to "devotion of the Mystic Law of cause and effect through the Buddhist teachings." While being invested in Ron's story, the reader is able to learn how to practice Nichiren Buddhism.
