In a land long since lost beneath the waves, a malevolent force is spreading. An obscure figure, shrouded in evil, is rallying the people to his cause and threatening the very existence of the old kingdom. The aged king has summoned the most powerful men in the realm to his cause, to stem the rise of this demonic leader; his champions, counsellors and priests, and a venerable magus, long thought dead. As the king's men attempt to unravel the mystery of the dark forces they face, the kingdom descends into chaos and rebellion. In a miasma of violence, intrigue and magic, the battle against the powers of evil rages as the king's intrepid adventurers undertake a perilous quest hoping to change the course of the war.
