Healthy Mind Body Life
Jayne Caldwell
Our minds are such powerful energetic biological machines. When we change processes within our minds our whole homeostasis changes too. Hi, my name's Jayne Caldwell and I have a lifetime of learnings and understanding about how our minds work. In this 1st of the mini series, my wish for you as the reader is to help bring more clarity into the mix including a clear plan of action for a healthier happier life for you. It isn't the 'only plan', or 'the plan', it's 'a plan' and it is always your choice to go with whatever is right for you and note that real change is from the roots up, in other words, an inside-out job.# Did you know: Endorphins stimulate our immune system by activating white blood cells and T-cells. T-cells are cancer fighting cells.# Cravings suggest a lacking. It's a compensation for your system to come back to it's best balance (homeostasis). It can be an emotional eating or perhaps a nutritional imbalance issue. Either of these can effect our homeostasis where we may counteract by eating too much, for example.# Did you know: Phenylethamine is a hormone that is produced in the early stages of a relationship. Cocao beans and chocolate contain Phenylethamine.. That makes sense!# Ghrelin, our appetite enhancing hormone, released when we are hungry, or when we haven't had enough sleep, reduces stress and helps use relax (aren't our bodies amazing!) So, allowing ourselves to be a little hungry and not over filling ourselves can be a good thing to encourage a little more ghrelin production. Without prejudice and without exception, this book is for your educational purposes. My expertise is with our mind processes, I have, however, endeavoured to bring major points together and from varying sources in order to bring more clarity and simplicity of what actually does work and what I've found to work for me personally supported with experts in different fields, as well as my own knowledge and skills within the processes of our minds and behaviours. This book focuses on Establish Your SaboteursEstablish what/who the 'true' reasons are for you going for that bottle of wine, eating that chocolate cake, gaining weight, missing those goals, etc., often there is more than one reason, for example Discipline Your Mind - Break The Habits, Create New HabitsThis is about conscious awareness, with discipline in order to create new habits. Eating, for example, with full conscious awareness, or noticing the people you are around and if they help or hinder you, for example. This is about more awareness and awareness of choices of what is and isn't working for you. Ask, 'how can I improve things right and what is in my control to do so', for example. We Are What We EatLearn how eating 'more' of the right types of food, counts more than counting calories and how and why this actually helps support you being slimmer, younger looking and more alive!Did you know that the original method used to determine the number of calories (kcals) in a food directly measured the energy it produced in 'heat'. Retrain Your Mind - We Are What We ThinkFind out how negative thinking can stop you in your tracks and can actually make you fatter and even age you! It's all in the emotions. Feeling good, more of the time. Fun!We Are What We Eat, Think, Feel & Do - Time To Focus! Did you know, and this is something that is repeated so much in the Human Potential world, your brain cannot distinguish the difference between that which is real and that which is 'vividly imagined'? The same brain chemistry is actually activated either way. This is about feeling good more for a change.. The big key is moving more towards feeling good and all of the benefits that feeling good brings. Starting a new wave of a happier, healthier you. Allow me to help and support you on your way, a way based on 'feeling good', more of the time. Enjoy!
