In the small town of Prosperity, Virginia, crime doesn't sleep. Neither does lust. Detective Dylan Hawthorne works the investigations night shift; he's the night detective. As everyone knows, nothing good ever happens after midnight. While working the usual robberies and assaults (and juggling the women in his life) Hawthorne discovers there's an evil stalking the women of Prosperity. When local strippers and prostitutes go missing, he's on the case. When they end up in the river, Hawthorne thinks he may have a serial killer on his hands. Sex, murder, and mayhem.
