Unfortunately, when confronted with leadership challenges, some leaders lead by demonstrating unacceptable deficiencies. They either lack the capacity, skills, knowledge and understanding to lead when under pressure. It is also possible to have the capacity to lead but lack the character or courage of a good leader. Such deficiencies yield disastrous results which may be evident immediately or apparent in the future. This book candidly addresses such deficiencies, demonstrates practical ministry examples, and proposes possible solutions. The central theme of this book is Value Based Leadership. Values-based leadership philosophy asserts that people are mostly motivated by values and live according to these beliefs. In other words, values are our most natural motivators. Authentic Christian leaders practice values-based leadership, which dictates that they align their personal values to their ministry values. By practicing authentic, ethical standards, coupled with effective communication skills, Christian leaders grow and develop committed church members. This book is a product of my corporate, church ministry leadership experience and the knowledge gained in my academic studies. In this book, I candidly give my personal failures, struggles, pains, and successes in leadership. It is my guided opinion that in my life the lessons that I remember most are the stories of those who have touched my life. This book has three threads:1.
