Engaging first novel, begging for a sequel
One of those books that immediately pulls you in with interesting characters and storytelling from male and female perspectives. The situations felt real, yet provided a welcome escape from reality. If you enjoy sexual tension and a compelling action/thriller plot, you will LOVE this book. Personally, I appreciated the strong female character, who wasn't afraid to use her sexuality. Really, really good book with an immensely satisfying ending. It's an absolute page-turner. Buy it!-Amazon Review For seventeen years, Millie's life was perfect. Eight Years can be read as a standalone novel or as part of the series. Each book of the trilogy is wrapped up nicely at the end. Read one or read them all. Eight Years features a forbidden romance between a strong, independent woman and a possessive, but tender, alpha male. Keeps You Wanting More!
What a great read! It's a steamy romance wrapped in a suspenseful thriller. Raised by a father who was away for long periods of time serving in military special ops and a self-centered Grandmother, Millie grows up to be a determined, self motivated, free spirited, strong woman. Millie's father is her world and her hero. This novel follows as she grows from a carefree daydreaming child into a mature force to be reckoned with, choosing a very similar career path as her dad. Watch as she finds herself and her surprising heritage all while tracking the same terrorists her father did. Follow as she makes her way in a predominantly male field and teaches the team how strong women are. Millie also has a very soft side that shines through when Mason enters her life. This novel is suspenseful and keeps you wanting more. Please, write the sequel!-Amazon Review Entertaining Read!
Reading this book was a treat! The dialogue between the characters flowed naturally and having served in the military, I thought the banter between the soldiers was spot on. I actually laughed aloud because it brought back a lot of great memories of the camaraderie of military friendships you don't find elsewhere. I also liked how the narration jumped between different characters and varying timelines. Donna Schwartze is a talented writer! Looking forward to more!!-Amazon Review The tension between Millie and Mason made me think of how Janet Evanovich writes her Stephanie Plum books. It's got an immediate sort of fire with a slow burn to the payoff.-Reader Review If you enjoy Elin Hilderbrand or Jane Green, this is right in that lane!-Reader Review
