Earth is dying... At a global summit, Gaia appears and delivers her warning: every country must join together to stop the world-wide destruction on the horizon. U. S. President, Sara Evans is on board, but others do not agree. Given no other option, Sara tasks William "Mac" MacGarrett with building a space fleet so that the citizens of the United States can escape the approaching cataclysm, even if that means leaving Earth behind. Meanwhile, someone in Gaia's inner circle is plotting Earth's destruction, no matter what the humans may do. The only answer is escape, but can Sara and Mac win the race against time - or will humanity be destroyed forever?
