in this ANIME inspired novel, three rabbits, two birds, a mouse and a cat go on an adventure to face a witch that some say may be hundreds of years old. Henry Rabbit and Burt Hare leave their valley hidden in the mountains to gather old friends and allies. Simon, a cat Burt met the last time he tried to face the witch. Simon was exiled for helping Burt. He's made a life for himself in the town of Styx but misses his old life. Winter a young rabbit that has been living with the elitist birds in their city called the Nest. Christopher, her mouse attendant, he's more then he seems. The leader of the birds, Lord Aaron, commands two members of the royal guards to accompany Burt and the others to make sure Burt returns to tell the tale. Ethan, a simple guard who is hesitant about the adventure and Raphael, the captain of the guard, who volunteers for the duty. While they travel, Burt tries the convince them Henry could be the key to defeating the Witch. Little does he know, Winter has her own plan for the Witch. Burt may be right but things never work out exactly as planed.
