If you are reading this, you are probably hurting. You can't find much information on the topic, and NO ONE wants to talk about it. You are not alone. You can recover. If you are a Believer, be reminded God is still enthroned and He can take anything you throw at Him. All He does is good, regardless of our interpretation. Accept that you will never fully understand everything about this life. Guard your heart, run to God. If you are not a Believer, guard your heart, run to God. For both, be courageous and look deep inside. Don't look too far ahead, nor stay too long behind, but strive for the NOW. Let God show you and others of what you are made. You are His creation--brave, strong, beautiful, enduring. It has been said to "Write what you know," which will compel production. This may or may not be true, but I am sad about it. I'm a teacher. I hang with kids. I'm drawn to the in-the-moment-of-wonder mentality. Yet, God has me writing and speaking about such dark, intimate, broken-china-cup things. I have spent many hours/days/ weeks/years in anguished thought, prayer and counseling. The first counselor I went to said most people sever the relationship after a catastrophic sexual addiction, which is not the best for anyone in the long run. Most fail to do the hard work recovery and restoration require.
