Neal Sterling, former Defense Attorney and currently a writer, is starting his Christmas vacation in a sleepy town in the Smokey Mountains, when he finds a girl hurt on a bench in town. He tries to get her help but ends up taking her to his cabin. She had no memory of how she got there or who she is. Days later Neal falls into unexpected circumstances turning his life upside down.
