The Boy had spent the greater part of his existence seeking his purpose. He was not like the other Seraphim, and from his earliest days had felt different. He knew nothing of the darkness that was rising in the land beyond the walls of the Seraphim's sanctuary, or the destruction that was coming to the realm, Althuria. It was ten years after his summoning that destiny began to unfold, and The Boy could be denied the knowledge of his great purpose no longer.
