The role of oxidants in aging process and many diseases including oral diseases and how different antioxidants work in positive direction to reduce or eliminates these problems encouraged the effective use of salivary antioxidants biomarkers as a tool for diagnosis and monitoring of many oral and systemic diseases. This book includes a literature review that covers theaging process, salivary antioxidant system, dental caries and periodontal diseases; the human sample, materials, equipment and methods used; results and finally the discussion and conclusions.
