The key is to slow down long enough to listen. Slow down long enough to hear the message or lesson that God is giving us. Long enough to embrace the warmth of someone's love. Long enough to hear and respond to the desperate cry of someone in crisis. And, of course, slow down long enough to laugh together, for laughter is our souls' medicine.
