Retired art teacher turned private investigator, Burt Bigsley, is once again called into action to aid the local police as they hunt for a killer. The Calypso Carnival rolls into the laid back town of Blue Ridge, Georgia ready to amuse. But instead of thrills, it brings a chilling murder. The carnivals' owner and resident fortune teller is implicated in the murder when tarot cards are found at the crime scene along with a nearly decapitated body. To further complicate the investigation, a patient escapes from the mental institution overlooking the scenic town. At the request of his imaginary friend, the young man is on a mission to harness his demons. Burt spins into action as he continues to hone his newfound skills tracking down yet another killer.
