This collection of poems is the first from poet and storyteller Ken Briodagh. It is an exploration of his fascination with the power of stories and storytelling and an acknowledgement that the best stories often come out of those "sins" of which society often doesn't approve. He writes about sex, laughter, violence, his bisexuality and queerness, art, music, the dichotomy of his love for and fear of power, and stories of dragons, society, pirates, giants, rats and many other fictional abstractions. And he's certain that he's entirely too enamored of allegory. Tolkien would not be pleased.
