On his way through Quebec, a young fast-talking beauty named Ginger practically accosts James Young. After she produces proof that she's actually an adult, he discovers that she's running from her greedy stepfather. Moving as fast as she speaks, they cross the bridge to the Island of Orleans where she promises a friend will shelter them. Hidden in the friend's basement, Ginger takes matter into her own hands.
