Five-year-old Ace Martin has been wanting to learn how to ride his bike without training wheels. When his dad begins to teach him, he has difficulty listening and focusing on the things his dad is telling him to do. One summer hot day, Ace's dad takes him to their neighborhood park to teach him how to ride his bike without training wheels. When Ace's dad sees that he is not focusing he chooses to use an interest that Ace has to help target his focus and memory. Ace loves to dance to music and sing along with songs. Ace's dad uses music to encourage Ace while teaching him to ride his bike without training wheels. As parents, we struggle to teach the lessons that may be challenging to our children, "Ace Wins the Race with Dads Amazing Grace", written by Jasmine Lavette Barton and co-written by Maxwell Noah Barton was written with the intent to encourage and guide families to communicate with love. As well as demonstrating how to teach with the intent to uplift and accomplish the goal. With the desire and purpose of illustrating, through dialogue between Ace and his dad, the difficulty of wanting to learn something new that is challenging and overcoming the struggle.
