Peter English and his partner, Dewey Phillips, are still being targeted by Louie Galloway and the Chicago mob. They hold them responsible for putting an end to the crime and corruption in Memphis. The mob was gone... Pete thought, but Louie Galloway won't give up. He and Dewey have a price on their heads, and anyone close to them is also in danger. Pete decides to go to Chicago and hopefully turn the tables on Galloway and maybe even the mob. He and Dewey will be working with Lawrence Forsythe, a Chicago PI, and Detective Luca Barzizza, of the Chicago PD. Well, Pete, if you thought it got rough in Memphis last year, you ain't seen nothin' yet! When he swore to eliminate Galloway and finally put an end to this, did he really think Louie's home turf was the place to do it? But that's not all, this is also home turf for the mob, and they have a price on Pete and Dewey's heads too. While the cats are away, the mob is reestablishing its presence in Memphis, again. If Pete and Dewey survive Chicago, what will they find when they get home? And what will they do about it?
