Justin Ito doesn't have much hope in January of 2020. It's his last semester of college, the future laid out before him like a doormat; a dead-end job, a lonely life, and a grave at the end. In stark contrast to this, Justin must also deal with his optimistic and proactive roommate Marcus, for whom he might just be developing feelings. Then, the pandemic. Then, the protests. Then... Justin, along with his depressive dark passenger, must muddle his way through 2020, searching for hope where there is perhaps none left to be found.
