Have you ever heard the expression, "Viewing the world through rose tinted glasses?" Well, the eyewear I refer to in my title are NOT those kind of glasses. There are two ways to view the world. One is that mankind will grow wiser and evolve further if led down a path that embraces peace and understanding. The other dictates that growth can only be achieved through suffering, conflict and the lessons learned from overcoming those obstacles. This book embraces the latter. That being said, the book's main focus is that we become stronger in the broken places. Some of the stories that follow can be very dark. They explore the human condition and, for better or worse, all that it represents. Without the chaos there cannot be balance in the Universe. Each story or poem represents one side of this equation or the other, sometimes both. The journey awaits. Please try and keep an open mind, fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride...
