As I was reading to my grandkids several basic Alphabet ABC's books, I was a bit disappointed with some of the illustrations or cartoons used in those books to illustrate the letters of the alphabet. I thought to myself that I have literally taken 1000's of pictures over the years and I could put some of them in a book based on the first letter of the subject and create an ABC's high-quality photo book. I wanted to make this simple and universal - pictures of non-controversial, basic things to which all kids can relate. All photos are natural - unretouched and unenhanced (except for cropping). Hopefully, your children and grandchildren will enjoy this book as much as my grandchildren do. More than just the words and pictures, you can create a story about each one and let the child tell you about it! That's what real learning is all about!
This book is printed using a high quality printing process on high quality, no-bleed paper for crisp, clear and colorful pictures. There are over 110 pictures in this book, all taken by me through the years, with one picture per 81/2" x 11" page. I am personally pleased with the end-product and true color regarding the printing process and I think you will be pleased, too. This printing process is more expensive and that is the reason for the relatively high cost of printing this book, but I think it is well worth it for the durable and very colorful quality of the book. The binding and pages are sturdy for your children or grandchildren to read and enjoy over and over again without problems. I think this is a book these children will enjoy picking up, looking at the photos and "reading" many times as they enjoy the colorful pics and learn without realizing it!
