Sweet Sofia promises the same brand of twists and turns found in two other Willard books about Joe Parker and a detective named Jack Phar, the initial Killing Friends, and the followup, A Mean Old Man. Sweet Sofia is Willard's seventh novel. He has 10 non-fiction books on marketing and career advice. In none of them does he recommend a career as a serial killer.
