Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back." In the year 25 A. D. in ancient Rome, warrior Marcus Claudius Marcellus was a Centurion in the Emperor's Praetorian Guard. He was ordered to the eastern edge of the Empire to master Asian fighting techniques. There he became involved in a tavern brawl that turned into a fight to the death. This brawl changes Marcus' life. He is ordered to solo foreign duty as a spy into the most hostile Roman province. There he encounters events that cause him to rethink his Roman ways. Returning to ancient Rome, where everything bad finds its way, he must fight on the most deadly battlefield of all, the politics of Imperial Rome. Can he survive the deadly threats he now faces?
