In the midst of the current racial climate experienced in America a little girl contemplates why her grandfather is her real life superhero. The controversy and protests over a public killing which sparked the refueling of the Black lives Matter verses Blue lives Matter verses All lives Matter movements gave inspiration to this book. This book lets children know that "sometimes bad guys disguise themselves as good guys", even in real life. This book touches on the death of yet another man of color in a way that a child can understand.
