Have you ever asked who Jesus yells at in the Gospels (okay, maybe rebuke would be a better word) and who he doesn't?When I took that journey, asking such questions, I found Jesus teaching me things I hadn't expected. I found that the Good Samaritan isn't some kindly tale about being nice to people. I found that Jesus never criticized the Pharisee for the beliefs only their actions-which isn't what we tell ourselves about them. Some will reject these ideas outright. Some will hear nothing. Some will hear and agree, but change the subject. Some will hear, understand, and but not change their behavior. Some few will understand what Jesus is saying, hear the message and change what they do once they have walked out the church doors.
