White Fragility is not just a mere concept but has become an empowerment mustered against the discussion of racism and it is why it gets harder with each passing day for white people to talk about racism. Robin DiAngelo rightly postulated some of his greatest fears about the latent movement that we have come to know as White Fragility. Today, those fears have been proven right through some of the occurrences we get to witness every day. Police Brutality are only aggravated forms of the institutional problems which once started out as secret (or open) White supremacist movements and subtle racist tendencies in our everyday systems. These ideologies have been put forward by the author in these book as he tries to follow a journey through the backing mentality behind white fragility and how it can become an empowerment against the destruction of racism in the society.
